Recognition of Honorees
At the university ceremony, student scholars receive honors cords in recognition of their achievements. These cords can be worn with academic regalia at Commencement. Cords are only guaranteed to students who attend the Honors Day ceremony.
Students designated as Distinguished College Scholars will also receive medallions at the ceremony in recognition of their distinctive accomplishments. These medallions may be worn with academic regalia at Commencement.
All honorees will receive a certificate in recognition of their achievement. These certificates will be mailed the week after the ceremony to the honoree's permanent address on record with the university.
